Now-a-days, it seems like, every day, I am learning something new. It’s nice to know that there are other people in the same boat…but that doesn’t make the learning curve easier. Thank goodness for technology, but I am really thankful for my network of business friends. Helping others to succeed, ensures our own success. No matter how long it takes. Here’s to another day of learning!

How I love summer.  Yes, it is HOT and DRY, but the fresh vegetables from the garden are worth the inconvenience.  The HOT weather I don’t mind.  I do pray daily for RAIN though.  I spent time last weekend with my cookbooks…looking for new ways to cook all the veggies I have.  Neighbors have shared excess produce with me.  I love them for it!  Plus, the Farmer’s Market is a hit!  I cooked okra…so that I actually like it now.  I even cooked Eggplant Patties last night….another veggie I don’t normally touch.  Tonight, I’m cooking my own concoction – fresh tomatoes, onion, mushrooms, barley, herbs, spices, and who knows what else I’ll throw in there.  My husband?  He loves it all.  Quite possibly, even subconsciously, that movie ‘Julie – Julia’ (or something like that) that some of us SJBNers saw last year…have inspired me to be a better cook.  Until next time…..
